It is universally acknowledged that there exists a decline in morals in today's society. For instance, some children don't show respect to their elders, and some young people don't help others who are in need of help. Additionally, the rate of crime is on the rise.
The decline in morals is, in my opinion, primarily caused by the lack of moral education in schools and families. Secondly, the negative influence of the mass media, such as TV and the Internet, also contributes to this decline. For example, children tend to imitate the bad behaviors of stars in TV shows or movies.
To improve the moral standard of our society, I believe, we should take the following measures. In the first place, parents should set a good example for their children at home. In the second place, schools should attach importance to moral education. Finally, the government should eliminate the negative influence of the mass media.
普遍认为，当今社会中存在道德滑坡的现象。如，有些孩子不尊重长辈，有些年轻人不帮助需要帮助的人。此外，犯罪率也在上升。
在我看来，道德滑坡主要是由于学校和家庭教育中道德教育的缺失。其次，大众媒体如电视和互联网的负面影响也助长了这一滑坡。例如，孩子们倾向于模仿电视节目或电影中明星的坏行为。
